General
Dentistry
Although twice-daily brushings and regular flossing
are excellent for maintenance between office visits,
regular examinations and cleanings are an absolute
necessity if you are to maintain a healthy mouth.
Our staff will help you keep your teeth and gums
strong and disease-free. To schedule a cleaning
or consultation, please contact
our office today.
Implants
Dental implants attach artificial teeth below
the gum line using an anchor. The anchor holds
the implant in place, allowing excess bone and
gum to grow around it. The end result is a strong,
secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable
from natural teeth. Because dental implants require
surgery, they are intended only for candidates
with sufficient bone and healthy gums. For more
information about dental implants, please contact
us today.

Orthodontics
(braces)
Having straight teeth is important for both health
and appearance. Not only do we have traditional
metal braces, but we also offer newer, subtler
varieties. One option is clear braces, which straighten
teeth without calling attention to the fact that
you have braces. Another option is Invisalign,
a unique new treatment option. Rather than using
wires and brackets, Invisalign uses custom-made,
removable aligner trays that move teeth into place
discreetly and comfortably. The aesthetic aspect
is important, because having a smile you love
can affect your happiness and self-esteem, whether
you are an adult, a teenager, or a child. To learn
more about these orthodontic options for you or
your child or teen, please contact
our office today!

Periodontics
(gums)
Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead
to more than just an unsightly smile—it
can cause loss of teeth and eventually, if left
untreated, serious health problems. Called gingivitis
in its early stages, periodontal disease is caused
by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque)
that attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early
warning signs of the disease include red, swollen,
bleeding gums. If caught early, we can help you
reverse the damage or, if detected late, we can
use one of many effective cosmetic dentistry procedures
to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful
state. For more information, please contact
our office today.

Dentures
and Partials
Full Dentures
Dentures are an excellent option for people who
have lost all their teeth. Precisely designed
and molded to fit one’s mouth, full dentures
slide over the gums and are held in place with
strong cheek and mouth muscles. They allow for
comfortable chewing and keep the mouth and its
surrounding features in proper alignment. To learn
more about full dentures, please contact
us today.
Partial Dentures
Sometimes, dentures are the best option to solve
the problem of missing teeth. When properly fitted
and designed, dentures—which are strong,
comfortable, and virtually indistinguishable from
natural teeth—can provide extra chewing
comfort, maintain facial structure, and ensure
added strength. To find out more about this option,
please contact us today.
Removable/ Partial Dentures
Removable or partial dentures fill gaps left by
missing teeth. Partial dentures are held in place
with metal clasps or precision devices (tooth-colored,
discreet clasps) that are attached to natural
teeth. Usually made of resin or metal, partial
dentures allow more comfortable and effective
chewing, improve speech, and prevent sagging of
the cheeks and lips. To find out if partial dentures
are right for you, please contact
our practice today.
Custom Dentures
Today’s technology allows us to fully customize
dentures to fit your mouth precisely and to exactly
match the color of your existing teeth. A good
fit ensures chewing comfort and added strength.

Root
Canal Therapy
Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand
of dental pulp—which provides the tooth
with nutrients and nerves—that extends down
to the tooth’s root. If the pulp becomes
infected or injured, the tooth’s nerves
die and often, without endodontic treatment, the
tooth dies as well. Root canals are designed to
save such damaged teeth. During the procedure
(performed under anesthesia), a gap is drilled
into the tooth’s crown and pulp chamber,
diseased pulp is reshaped or removed, and the
tooth is permanently sealed with a gold, porcelain,
or tooth-colored crown. To learn more about root
canals, please contact
us today.

TMJ
Problems involving the jaw joint (temporomandibular
joint) located just below the ear are commonly
referred to as TMJ. Patients suffering with TMJ
problems may experience headaches, pain in the
jaw joints or surrounding muscles, a jaw that
locks open or closed, a bite that changes uncomfortably,
or difficulty chewing, speaking, swallowing, or
eating. TMJ therapy is customized to fit each
patient’s individual TMJ disorder. Our practice
offers a variety of surgical and non-surgical
options to treat TMJ problems. If you are suffering
with TMJ symptoms, please contact
us for more information about the TMJ treatments
that we offer or to schedule a consultation.
