Greenwich is the largest town on Connecticut's Gold Coast with a total population around 61,000. Settled in 1640, this lively town was named after a borough of London in the United Kingdom. In 2005, Greenwich was ranked number 12 by Money magazine in their "100 Best Places to Live in The United States" article.
Today it is the wealthiest town in Connecticut. It is home to many financial service companies and is strategically positioned about 45 minutes away from Manhattan by train.
